Problem Solving
Deal with your problems to regain control
Approach your problems systematically to feel better
Everyone faces problems all the time. It’s completely normal. But sometimes, regardless of how big or small they are, those problems can feel overwhelming. It’s easy to start overthinking. So it really helps to take a positive step-by-step approach to problem solving as a way to reset yourself, reduce stress levels and improve your mental fitness.
How to do it
Of course, there are some problems which you can’t control and it can be helpful to put those to one side or make a point of talking about them separately. But you might feel much better about the bigger picture if you’ve worked through the other problems systematically. Try breaking the problem down and tackling the bits you can control one step at a time. And remember to ask for help. Often talking it over with someone else, and getting it out of your head, can make a real difference.
